The war on drugs has been a real cash cow for drug dealers, the DEA and various branches of the legal system. If we end prohibition one day, there will be significant budget cuts in most narcotics law enforcement groups which means many DEA people will get laid-off. Better keep drugs illegal or else all these good folks could loose their jobs!
