Love Skynyrd, but this version is way better. The Skynyrd version was a dime- a- dozen. It was a song that the band probably doesn't even care about. BLS made it special. No disrespect to Skynyrd, no band can put it entire heart and soul into every song. Zakk put his into this.

I was 19 years old when Skynyrd did this originally.
The purist in me says I should dislike, but how can you dislike such a dark and different cover of a song that was recorded and played for obvious reasons?
There has to be some deep hurting for someone to write and record this, exposing your heart and soul for the world to see.

I have to say that I have never heard a cover, EVER, that not only lived up to the original but totally blew it out of the water. I LOVE Lynyrd Skynyrd, but this is what this song was meant to sound like. AMAZING.....
