You'll be amazed at how much greenery there is in our greenhouse
despite single digit temperatures and snow outside!

  • it would depend on the amount of sun you get in the winter. Even with less than 4 hour sun a day, the energy efficient shape and features would make it easily outperform any other greenhouse

  • Hi Bill, Thanks for the question.

I have never felt the need to track humidity, as it has'nt been a problem for me. However others have had problems. What I have noticed is that humidity in the dome seems to average out at approximately 30% higher than outside. The main reasons for excessive humidity seem to be. Overwatering, use of a non vented heater to maintain high ambient temperatures, disconnecting the vents in the winter, high external humidity levels. We are lucky in Colorado!

  • Why have you not used a heater this year? Is passive solar heating enough for what you are growing in the dome? Was it to expensive to use a heater?

Thanks for sharing your greenhouse experience! I love to see your videos!

  • Wonder if this would work out here.

  • Wow I'm impressed .. I live in rocky mountains Alberta Canada .

  • Have you been keeping track of the humidity levels throughout the year?

  • love your video as always
