Bill Joyce www.SacramentoBill.com blog author and www.SurvivingTheAmericanDream.org distressed homeowner discussion forum demonstrates how to use their free financial tool. This model is a downloadable planning tool allowing distressed homeowners to calculate the the long term financial impact of staying in an overvalued, underwater home vs leaving (short sale, strategic default) renting and repurchasing.

The long term impact is far greater than most people realize. If you owe more on your home than it's worth and don't know what to do...start by assessing the extent of the damage.

Stop by www.SurvivingTheAmericanDream.org and join the conversation. Our panel includes an Attorney, CPA, Loan Broker and Real Estate Broker providing candid feedback and advice for troubled home owners.

  • The American Dream is not about social justice, equal poverty for all with no incentive nor reward to succeed. The American Dream is about the free market. It rewards those who make it with both money and feelings of accomplishment.
