Best advice I ever got from a petroleum engineer was to use Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck motor oil in all of my gasoline cars. Diesel engines have no cats, so they kept healthy levels of ZDDP in the oil. I'd much rather replace the cats after a decade than rebuild my motor.
