Former Afghan minister criticial of Karzai - 20 Feb 09

While the discussion of strategy in Afghanistan continues, in the capital Kabul, the country's president continues to face political turmoil.

One of Hamid Karzai's former allies has delivered a severe criticism of the president. In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, Anwar Ul-Haq A-Hadi the former finance minister, said Karzai is slow to make decisions and often they are wrong.

As James Bays reports, he's part of a growing opposition.

wow, just because people want us divide doesnt mean we will do that ok. afghans will stick together. One can easily a parallel between Karzai and Ahadi, both started "crying wolf" when it is time for election. Karzai? bad mouthing US,etc. Ahadi? bad mouthing Karzai. Their motive? gain power. If they truly cared for poor people, they were in best position, for longest time to ID and tackle issues including "their cries for wolf".

My afghan brother, how can you talk of progress when afghanistan is an occupied country. Maybe you havent noticed all the foreign SOLDIERS walking in the streets and as you may know all the military stations all over afghanistan. If you are against corruption and tries to point out the negative points about some one i dare you have the same opinion about fahim, dostum, khalili, sayaf, abdullah and many more.. try to be realistic and use good words instead of abussive langauge, any one can use it but every one has different characters and opinions
