@MagikGimp I don't know about Chinese cultures specifically, but I know in some Asian cultures you're supposed to slurp your noodles loudly to show you like them and I think it's just good luck not to bite your noodles - long life. Also the chicken feet have bones in them; so you eat the meat around the bone then you spit all the little bones out (all the metatarsals and phalanges). Unless, of course, you want to display good "manners" and eat all the bones.
