This song was written by my wife when she was given 9 months to live (March 2008) and before she died of Ovarian Cancer last year (Feb 2009). It is set to many photos of her during her life. As her husband I would like to share her songs that she wrote during her cancer treatment and final months of life. She wrote, sang and played all the instruments on this song. We always looked at life as a glass half full not empty. She was very inspirational to the many people who knew her. She and we never gave up hope as this is sometimes all you have.

  • I am weeping as I listen. Beautiful family and such an amazing woman. Inspirational for me as I am undergoing treatment for ovarian cancer now. I will continue to listen to your wife's music and hope I can be there for my son as she was for your lovely girls.

  • Thank you for your thoughts. I do hope you get some inspiration from Sue-Louise's music. I hope you do do well. Never give up hope. We will be praying and thinking of you. Mark and the girls.

  • I worked for/with Sue- Louise once. I didn't know until now that she had passed away. I am so sad for you and your family. I hadn't heard her music before now either, although I knew she was talented. This song is so beautiful. I feel honoured to have known her. What an amazing woman! Best wishes for the future. • I know what it is like to lose a mother, as I lost mine to breast cancer when I was 6. Your girls are so fortunate to have such a present father. My grandmother helped take care of us as we were growing up and we endured stepmothers etc. And now here I find myself, in my mother's shoes.

  • A beautiful tribute to an amazing woman and her incredible talent. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your two children. I agree with your comment about hope -- sometimes it is all that you have, yet it can accomplish miracles.
