  • It's odd, but Bret Easton Ellis said this is his favorite adaptation to his book. I don't think the tone of this movie really matched the tone of the book at all. I think the only adaptation to his books I felt didn't butcher his material at all was American Psycho.

  • i think.... it was directed beautifully and portrayed awesomely by the director (and i guess the actors). roger avery took the rewinds and voice overs to new heights and that is exactly how the book was.

  • YOU SUCK ,

Youve totally ruined the movie with this stupid ass video.

  • i didnt make it fuckmook.

Omg, shut up you hipster bastard.

  • britney spears may be a crazed pop messed up girl but i dont care who sung this song its beautiful an the video is touching, personally i dont like britneys music but this song suited the video very very well, big fan of the movie too

  • beautiful, so beautiful song... and what a famous moovie! very nice

  • NOTE TO ELLIS' AND AVARY'S FANS, THIS VIDEO IS A TOTAL MISCONCEPTION OF BOTH THE CONTENT OF THE GREAT BOOK AND THE GREAT FILM. ELLIS HAS CAREFULLY CONSTRUCTED A POST MODERN CYNICAL UNIVERSE, AND THE CREATOR OF THE VIDEO WITH HIS SILLY CHOICE OF SONG AND HIS FOOLISH ROMANTICISM IS EMBARASSING HIMSELF/HERSELF.

  • @inferajum Totally agree. GREAT book, GREAT film, SHITTY song!

  • @Jobeykobra - I agree. But I'd be much harsher about this movie. I thought it was Mr. Ellis' attempt to say something deep about love, and miserably failing in the process. This movie dwelled somewhere between shallow university gross-out fest, and depressing lost love movie where nobody is happy in the end.

  • You totally missed the point with this "HER" in the end, and it's also contradictory - "at first I thought there were things about her that I would never forget, but, in the end, all I could think about was - HER"??? No way!

  • spoiler alert! she kicks the bucket,...

  • britney spears set to the rules of attraction? fuck up much?!?!
