This video shows how to draw a room using one point perspective. This is an entry level introduction. To make it more interesting, try placing your vanishing point somewhere else instead of in the centre.

Skitch was used to draw the picture. SnapzPro was used to record the drawing. The video file was then imported into iMovie to add the titles, music and narration.

This a great clear tutorial on perspective drawing. I like that the artist adds some basic concepts about measuring widths, dividing things in half with x's and creating an estimated grid to create floor boards and ceiling tiles. Even though I'm sure this artist knows more detail about using these techniques with greater accuracy--I like that he shows the basics so clearly so I beginner doesn't get bogged down in the detail. I appreciate what he shares so well because I teach perspective too.

Go grab Andrew Loomis' books. You can find them for free (legally) using Google. The books are out of print, so you're unlikely to find them at a book store. They go into great detail drawing the human body in reference to perspective.
