some basic trigger designs to hopefully help out home crossbow builders.the video was taken using a small camera so the sound quality isn't very good.if you have any questions, please leave a comment or private message me.I've also made 4 custom crossbows each with different styles of trigger that worked consistently. If anyone has any better ideas, please let me know.

  • what rhymes with trigger?

  • @theclockmax rigger, snigger, digger, bigger, lol...why?

  • Good work on the design.. will you be posting the plans and a build log anywhere? there are only a few designs about ..yours is good... davereap

  • @davereap I don't have any plans as such,I had a rough idea of what to build before I started. If you need help, sent me a private message. The most I have is lots of little drawings, doodles+sketches.I've sent a few people an email with some info.

  • what is the c section alluminium frow BandQ exactly meant to be for ? i'm gonna go and get some. thanks lee

  • @lpilk2007 - if you look at the small 3D drawing of the release,it has a bend so it looks C shaped from the side, it doesn't need to be that shape, you can make it with a flat back and it will still work, you could use a pipe bender to put a slight bend in it,but it isn't neccesary.

  • @faniboz1 just asking and trying to see whos racist or not

  • Sean Connery makes a great crossbow trigger

  • @faniboz1 i was thinking about making the housing for the trigger out of it .

  • thanks for that .. i can tell by your triggers and the job that you do that you are very skilled in that sort of tiny metal working. whereas i am a bricklayer by trade and my tollerances are far greater than yours ...lol. To make such a small trigger with the coil spring is way beyond my skill level i think . I will take a chance on trying to make a trigger like the pistol one for my next project i think.
