LOOM Soundtrack (FM-Towns Version)

Musical score from the LucasArts adventure game LOOM. Whilst the original floppy disk version of the game came only with simple AdLib-synthesized music and the CD-ROM version had no music, the highly prized FM-Towns version shipped with an amazing digital score.

All the music in LOOM is derived from the classic piece "Swan Lake" by Tchaikovsky. This video contains four tracks - theme, Crystalgard, Shepherds, and The Forge. Each of these begins at 0:00, 2:07, 3:44, and 6:40 respectively.

Aye. I wish that its sequels "The Forge" and "The Fold" were finished, but oh well. It's still amazing on its own.

I played this game as a small kid and it totally took my imagination to the extreme. I had a CD version with the music on the CD - never said anything about any FM-Towns or anything and i listened to it until it got too scratched; haven't heard it in a while now, thought i'd look up youtube for a version because it got stuck in my head. LOOM FOREVER!

The DOS CD-ROM did include music, actually, but not as much as the disk or FM Towns versions.
