Eileen Joyce was a great, fine and sophisticated pianist. She was the legendary pianist from Australia who became famous because of her perfect performances, her technique. She was always brilliant. This record is considered one of the most important ever and it was made for a british film, in 1941.

  • One of THE best recordings I have yet heard...

  • Extraordinary musician.

One of the greatest pianists of the 20th century - no question!

  • Ultracelebralna struna niepamięci na jawie. Wyjęto mi cerebellum (słówko ładne jak jasna cholera).

  • Thank you for posting this. I've been looking around for her recording of the Rachmaninov PC2 for a long time and have been unsuccessfully. I agree with SatchmoSings - Joyce's is second only to Rachmaninov's for me.

  • What a Tiger- this is inspired playing- what a heart1

  • Beautiful.
