Beautiful St. Wolfgang - Mount Schafberg (Austria) with 360 ° Panoramic View!

Ride by train to the top of mount Schafberg near Sankt Wolfgang in Austria. The peak offers a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of the Salzkammergut mountains and lakes (Wolfgangsee, Attersee, Fuschlsee und Mondsee and in total further 13 lakes) and is also the site of a hotel.
Fahrt mit der Zahnradbahn auf den Schafberg (1782m) bei Sankt Wolfgang am Wolfgangsee im Salzkammergut (Österreich). Oben kann man einen wunderschönen und atemberaubenden 360° Panoramarundumblick genießen.Vom Schafberggipfel hat man einen einmaligen Blick auf die Seen des Salzkammergutes. Neben dem Wolfgangsee, Attersee, Fuschlsee und Mondsee sind insgesamt 13 Seen zu sehen und es gibt ein Hotel dort oben (Hotel Schafbergspitze).

@hugwildlife: Thank you! There is much wildlife in Austria and in that area. Not far from there are national parks and the largest ice-cave on the planet earth ("Eisriesenwelt Werfen")! Yes, people are skiing and many famous skiers are Austrians! Visit Austria, you are welcome here!

Thats very, very beautiful and peaceful! Do people ski there in the winter? Do you have much wildlife in that area? I would love to visit Austria, but I'm not sure, if its possible. Thanks for sharing!

@hugwildlife: I was there in autumn 2010 and the weather was perfect! At 1:05 you can see the highest mountain in that region ("Dachstein", 2,995 m/9,826 ft) and you see it right above the roof of the house on horizon and it is the one which is covered with snow.
