#39- Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song- Passionate Rhythm
Composer: Kenji Ito

The Minion Scorn battle theme. "Okay, we have the penultimate boss. He's one of the three most powerful beings on the planet. How about uh, some ululating woman and an acoustic guitar solo? BRILLIANT!"

  • Now I'm curious who the other two most powerful beings are on the planet that you speak of. EXPLAIN YOURSELF!!!

  • Those would be the other two minions.

  • @dracon204 when you should get done with that, send me the finished product, and ill have a listen :) passionate rythm in a good guy's sense would do better but it was meant for the three evil little guys....strife's theme :p

  • @moa373 I think I'll make a non-vocal version of this, I have the right mixing materials... hmm... I'll try to see how it sounds without the vocals, and try to replace them with other instruments.

  • @dracon204 i tend to like music with a kinda mexican beat like this.... btw the battle with the "squid boat" is wicked melody my favorite out of these two...

  • @moa373 I have to agree with you there.

  • the lady on the song adds to the depth of the passion on the music

think on the song with out her, would it truly be the same ?

  • The pic isn't for a fight with this music, but Ghostship is one of my favorite bosses in the game heh thanks

  • @Alkahest Yeah I dunno how I feel about the vocal aspect, I don't think it's too intrusive though and have learned to like it with time though. I think I would prefer if an instrument just hit the notes she does instead though.

  • *cue Sanbone Trio* I really like the exotic flair of this song. The guitar sounds awesome. ^^

  • Perhaps not as dramatic or tense a theme as one would expect for a 'Penultimate Being' boss fight, but apart from the screeching- errr, heh, 'ululating' woman, it's a fairly good piece. The guitar is reminiscent of something I'd expect to hear from Zorro, or the like; very well played, energetic, and engaging.

... I really wish there was a way to silence that woman's 'contributions', however. That sound startled my dogs and set them to growling. Ah well. Thanks for uploading.
