This is the upgraded version of the previous rifle. Between this creation and the last I was tinkering with a revolver design, but it never would have worked well enough.
Anyway, about this rifle:
About 2 feet and 3 inches long
Holds 36 of the small green rods in the ammo rail along the top
Still has the same gear trigger I used in the last design
The way I squeezed out more ammo (about 2X) was by making the rail go from the back to the front, not front to back. Seems like a minor quibble but the thought hadn't occurred to me until I started making it.
A lot better than the last rifle (which had issues firing the small green rods, but not any of the larger ones), and the main "selling" point of this gun is that you really don't have to reload at all.
I know some of you were wanting a live action demo, but I like to keep the mystery in these things.
I haven't bought any new pieces, so I still have the 400 piece set, but I have extra grey rods and dark grey connectors (single) from when my friends and I were trying to build an android. So I've got probably 460-ish pieces (like 10 extra grey rods and 50 extra dark grey connectors
Have a new gun! took a while, but I'll post up a video soon enough.

I prefer the first one. I think this one is a bit too fragile and the previous one was nice and box-like

I did upgrade this weapon a few times to increase stability and strength (especially with bending) since the video was posted, however, I had taken it apart because I was working on a project for class.
