Naomi Oreskes explains with great clarity the driving force behind climate denial - aversion to the political and economic implications of climate change.

UPDATE: Some commenters are asking about evidence that humans are causing global warming. A summary is provided at http://sks.to/evidence and http://sks.to/agw with links to the many peer-reviewed papers that provide empirical evidence for human caused global warming.

Many thanks to the producers of I Can Change Your Mind about Climate for granting permission to repost this footage, which didn't make the final cut of the documentary. More info about the film is available at http://www.abc.net.au/tv/changeyourmind/

China and India have already changed the climate with their sulphate and soot emissions bless them and it has shown up what a weakling CO2 is as a climate changing medium.

Ha ha fact is you don't give a damn.

If you did you'd do something about it like tell people you've changed.

But no you just want someone to hate to ease the pain of knowing you're a failure.

Well the good news is you don't matter the world is moving on.

China and the US have begun to take leadership positions with GW.

You know, all you have demonstrated is you are a zombie who will copy and paste stuff you don't understand from propaganda sites in an attempt to appear intelligent.

    Fail.

The 40 year plan is underway and the future is bright whilst big carbon enlists dullards like you to further their propaganda to keep them in control.

"Only puny secrets need protection, big discoveries are protected by public incredulity"

Behold the revolution that is happening now... and it's profitable!

You can whinge all you like hypocrite but I think Australia ought to stop mining coal forthwith ~ if this CO2 hazard is as dangerous as James Hansen says it is you owe it to the world to desist in this wanton destruction of our atmosphere ~ or are you not that convinced that CO2 is a threat? ~ it is to friggin laugh.

    Suddenly you're the moral police.

The carbon tax is the only way to make an ordered transition to clean energy.

The hypocrisy of your position is contained in you telling me what I should do and your pathetic attempt to discredit the CT

Only 10% increase is allowed due to carbon tax by law

    Yr copy'n'pasting coal propaganda

The whole mining sector only employs 1.8% pop mainly for iron ore
