From our Series, "Refuting the Controversial Theories of Jesus", this clip answers the question: Did the Council of Nicea in 325AD (and Constantine) invent the deity of Jesus? Up until that point, did anyone even know that He was claiming to be God?
@whoelsezr1 I didn't say anything about it being added at the council of Nicaea,I said it was added after the council of Nicaea, I also have never read the Divinchi code and you obviously don't know what you are talking about ,cause 1 John 5:7 is called the Johanneum Comma, look it up on Wikipedia, unless you would just rather remain ignorant
@FREEDOM6427 Nothing was added to the new testement at the council of Nicaea, those who have read the Divinchi Code or other books are misled. The only thing that Constentine did was confirm the already standing. You should realy know what your talking about before you start the fire.
@whoelsezr1 your exactly right, there are no manuscripts with the word trinity nor are there any manuscripts that say three in one,but 1 john 5:7 does say these three are one, but you will also find that it was not found in the earliest Greek manuscripts, but was added in after the council of Nicaea, in fact,it was first added in during a Latin translation. the deity of Jesus was God inside of him, the fleshly man himself was not God or a god.
@FREEDOM6427 The council of Nicea did not invent the idea of trinity or deity because we can reference over 5,600 first century copies of the New Testament and find they were exactly the same 20 years after the life of Jesus as they were after the council of Nicea, and the same as they are today.
The Council of Nicea also founded the trinity doctrine which teaches that man became God, when they teach that the man Jesus was deity, but oneness doctrine teaches that God robed himself in the flesh of man , can you remember what the first lie told by the father of lies was? man shall become deity.
@ymnyzee most of the prophets were killed, and the same thing that muslims want to do with jesus to elevate muhammad. the fact is they hated the prophets because they refused to repent. If Muslims submit their will to God, then by all means obey the Ten Commandments.
@corkystorky Nobody is telling you to change your ancestory, what Im saying is that if you understand that God sent down his message in stages, then after the old testament, and new testament, then you should follow the final testament. All true followers of the prophets are Muslims, ie, they submit their will to God.
