  • was wondering was this a na or turbo when stock i was told if you put forced induction on a na 13b dont go over 5lb boost housing and apex seals cant handle it also how much power did u gain

  • @roughneck240z89 it was N/A before, not sure what max boost w/out changing seals is, but 5 seemed ok for me, most guys end up blowing the motor, maybe thats why, didn't get ALOT more power I mean it was no twin turbo FD but it was a hell of a lot better than N/A, much better throttle response and much less fuel mileage, which should mean it had more power ROFL

  • @mikemrrymn lol i hear ya ive been looking into hho genarators for mine how much was the cost of the supercharger my mechanic told me bring him 6 thou and he will guarintee me 300 hp at the wheels with no reilibity probs

  • @roughneck240z89 I probably paid 3 to 4 by the time I was done and still had ALOT to put in, I never upgraded fuel pump / injectors, had no fuel management... so 6K is reasonalbe as long as you make sure you get fuel management and make sure its one that changes timing based on boost or its not really gonna keep motor safe, also would be best to have a Knock sensor installed and integrated shouldn't be a prob if you have a turbo already, be careful with HHO generators, not sure if they work!

  • @mikemrrymn im willing to bet for the 6 he was gonna drop in a turbo 13b from one of his old cars i have built small hho gens for demos my ex fatherin law is a engineer he built one for a lawn mower i know of one guy that put one on a rx7 and got 5 extra mpg and ive seen one on a ninja im prob jus gonna save up and go woth a 20b noone around here has done that yet

  • @roughneck240z89 20b in a FD is my next car...

  • How much hp?

  • @roughneck240z89 Not true Aaron Cake is safely pushing 16psi on his turbo N/A I'm sure he's using 2mm apex seals as well, it's all about proper tuning.

  • got sc from rx7club member, wing was stock duckbill came on some models, ended up selling fc and later the fd, miss my rx7's big time, i will have another thinking 3 rotor single tubo v mount for my next set up, prob in a 95 or import rhd if i can find one

  • @iLimet of coarse I do!!! I was saying I want the fc and also referring to the third gen that was parked next to it.
