From the drivers cab of a DC Locomotive banked with four other locos pulling a 600m train of 1460 tons. Driver Fred Hamer, loco assistant Mike Nelson.

  • what is the voltage and gauge? seems cape gauge and loco seems like a WCM class with WDM type controls! I myself a loco pilot! (WCM and WDM are IRs main line DC and Diesel Locos)

  • In minute 1.03 you can see Fred's hand on the throttle. Below the safety bar is the reverser in the forward position. up above is the smaller control handle for selecting Dynamic braking or power modes. The automatic and independant brake handles are located back, far left bottom under the R/T cables. Great memories. Cheers.
