Trevor Colman - Its Time We Governed Ourselves

Trevor Colman is an ex Police Superintendent who now works with the UK Independence Party which is fighting to gain back control from the European Union. "It is time we governed ourselves". Five Prime Ministers have misled the people of the Uk about the True Intentions of the European Union. A successive line of Billboards will outline the situation the Uk is in now. Unlimited and uncontrolled immigration and a net loss of benefits for the Uk as the newest and non members get a large part of the money the EU spends. Laws that we live under should be voted upon by the people. The Uk government has handed over control of its borders to and immigration policy to the EU. The present 'tough lines' coming from the government on these issues are illusionary as all decisions come from the European Union. Darn straight. I'm from the USA and there is more talk now than ever about the threat of totalitarian treatment of citizens here. It's becoming obvious that Washington doesn't in any way have protection of (or even respect for) the rights of us peons in mind.

Load of BS. The UK gains access to the EU market, which is 6% of world's population, but also one of the most important markets in the world. Population is not directly proportional to economic power. Also, the rest of the world don't have 'free access' to this market. They have to pay numerous taxes. This is the idea behind the EU, to get rid of those taxes and all the red tape involved in the trade between countries.
