Hey, you know what I think? I think you lot should drop trying to talk about British events/news, because obviously both of you have no idea about the background of Susan Boyle, or even the show she's on. All you've done is commented about something that's become a big hype without even knowing the story behind it all. You make comments in the shallowest way possible, without even trying to look deeper into the situations and come up with intelligent, sensible comments.

I think you guys are missing the point COMPLETELY. The breakdown was not caused by the loss, but by the sudden relief from all the tension and stress. She's been built up by the press, only to be knocked down repeatedly, and for someone not used to that kind of a spotlight it proved too much. If you watched her during the final show, it's quite obvious she didn't want to win. It's not about money, she's realised she doesn't want any of the fame or the fortune, and she thinks she can't go back.
