@speakwhnspkn2 Wynton has no soul! he's technical yes but has very little soul I've seen him perform & met him. He's a nice cat but i prefer Fats,Morgan & Booker. Do you play Trumpet or another instrument? I play Trumpet and have for over 15 years studied for 5 in State University. Miles was not sloppy, it was intentional for him to fluff a note here and there.

@speakwhnspkn2 I would have the same opinion of Miles regardless of what color he was. My grandparents were burned in ovens for being Jewish. I was born in Poland where antisemitism was and still is rampant. I chose to get over things and get on with my life. Miles made a career based on his anger. BTW he came from an affluent background. How he lived his life was his choice to make.

@abzgroupinc Perhaps he was angry about policement beating him up outside Birdland as he was taking a break from playing. I don't guess you white folks can ever understand the long lasting effects of racism and the violence that often stems from it. Let me go upside your head and beat you nearly to death and see if you don't have a chip on your shoulder. Ask Reginald Denny. I bet he has some anger issues also.
