i work in a shop, oils, coolant, etc, paracord laces generally outlast my redwing workboots..

I've used it for years never frayed or broken on me, another tip is to tie a knot in the middle of your lace once you put the lace in your boots the knot stops the lace shifting so you'll never end up with one long end one short end ever again be safe brother. Roach
