This song always makes me think of one of my ex-girlfriends. I rarely get to see her, but when I do, she's the most clear and beautiful picture in my vision. She's a night owl, so she's always floating in the dark. I hope the scars are only temporary. Maybe some day...

@Tehdrumr4life14 if this song must necessarily be about something specific I guess he might be about a drummer boy wich lost his band, quite a chunk of his future future and a friend in a stupid February morning. Is weird how people always think about the so called drama of Kurt killing himself, thinking that all the people he left behind were just having fun or something. Living is not a crime or the easy way out, throwing your life away probably it is...

Simply beuatiful. Almost impossible to believe this is the same band that can power through titanic grunge greats like Monkey Wrench and Everlong with their eyes closed. Truly one of the best bands of the generation, if not ever.
