I agree about Eddie Marshall -- way under-appreciated! I saw him at Larry Blake's in Berkeley c. 1980, playing to an audience of about 6 people and playing fabulously.
This is a great group with Bobby Hutcherson in his best form displaying musicianship unheralded, according to McKoy Turner, in our time. The drummer, Eddie Marshall, is an absolutely stellar performer who is one of the finest, most technically and soulfully gifted musicians around. I remember him with The Fourth Way (Michael White,Mike Nock, et al), the first truly "fusion"/be-bop ensemble, although that distinction is usually accorded to Miles Davis. Marshall is fantastic!!!
