I wrote an email to the developers. They actually answered it! ^^

"We are still working on Sadness. Date of launch is 2009. More info you should get on our new webiste which we would like to put at April/May."

shame nintendo dropped out of publishing sadness, to focus no more money making rubbish family mini games. without nintendo's backing and huge bags of yen, the developers can't finish it until 2009 now, if at all?

It is real... Nibris is just secretive.

Why else are new sites coming up and stuff.

Actually Sadness IS real. They just licensed the Gamebryo engine from Emergent. It was announced in a press release from Emergent. They may be a small indenpendent developer, but Nibris & Sadness are real. Now whether or not the game will ever see the light of day as a retail product is another question.

Quite interesting; it's not a very common genre in the Wii. Where can I get more info about the game? I found it at wikipedia :P but I want to see their official page or something like that.

If I get a Wii, this game will be one of the reasons for that. The story, setting, and gameplay details sound very compelling. I like the fact that you are not playing as some badass, super-solder or cop. I hope this game happens.
