first single from Marcella Detroit's album "Feeler". As the press release said, this is NOT about Siobhan Fahey ;-0

  • It's hard to fathom how this single missed the UK Top 100. It has all the hallmarks of a quirky 90's pop hit. A little edge, a big voice and a catchy hook. What went wrong?

  • incompetent little record company that dudded her :-(

  • Siobhan married Dave Stewart from Eurythmics ages ago. The reason the description + announcement from Marcella is so funny is that everyone knows they were at each other's throats and just couldn't stay together as co-lead singers of the band.

Siobhan wanted to be the one and only lead singer/star. Siobhan's voice is unique, but I'll always feel Marcella's is so much more powerful and capable of evoking a much wider array of emotions.

  • it IS good..im a massive SS fan; think SF is a ledgend; this is great tho....!

  • I LOVE SIOBHAN AND MARCELLA I WILL NOT TAKE SIDES THEY R BOTH REALLY REALLY TALENTED GIRLS, WITH OUTSTANDING VOICES. I DISAGREE WITH PEOPLE WHO SLAG SIOBHAN OFF, HOW DO THEY KNOW WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN HER LIFE. ITS A BIG SHAME THEY SPLIT UP BUT I THINK IT WAS RIGHT. SIOBHAN AND MARCELLA LONG LIVE THE QUEENS

  • I love love love Marcy! but Shakespeares Sister worked because of both girls. Any doubters listen to the "New" Shakespeare's sister cd Siobhan doesn't have a soaring voice like MArcy but there is a growling velvety quality to it. Together they were supreme. Apart I'll still be buying their output Love them ladies

  • @funboyone sorry dude, there's no way, that siobhan could do anything worthy without Marcella, Siobhan can hardly bloody sing at all. She was given a gift in Marcella and messed it up with her outsized ego

  • @extremeriot shakespear sister was and is...siobhan...marcella is the backing vocals.

  • @extremeriot I agree!!

Siobhan is no good with out Marcy in my opinion!!

Her voice is just a beaut!

  • The fact is that Shakespeare's Sister could have been so much bigger. They were a great quirky band who had talent between both Marcella and Siobhan. But that silly cow Siobhan wasted the potential by being so vile. She had the visuals but not the voice. The two together were dynamite, but Marcella has more vocal talent. what a waste of a great band.

  • @KISSMEMYFOOL69 Yes, Siobhan does have her fan base, no doubt! But Marcy has her own niche of fans as well who are fiercely loyal to her. I just accept that they are different from each other and those differences caused them to move in different directions. Totally normal in any relationship that doesn't work. I won't pick sides because I really do like them both for their unique talents and I actually think it is amusing how they seem to sing to each other in their various recordings.

  • @JanBee1122 Your are right. I really like way you think and its good that your not judging. Im just going by what I heard but it might be wrong info I heard. I just get angry because Siobahn gets all the credit meanwhile Marcy is absolutely stunning! They are both incredible women and I love them both.

  • @JanBee1122 Correction, the band did not break up. I meant since Marcy left the band.
