the wind doesnt help hurdlers at all. the conversion for straight sprinting is 0.05s per 100m per 1m/s wind. This is 110m so for every 1m/s tail wind the time would be 0.06s better IF they were straight sprinters...but they're not. Hurdlers rely on hitting the right mark prior to a hurdle and when they get over it- so their timing is perfect. When they are in rgeat form, elite hurdlers prefer a slight headwind actually..anything over 1m/s tail wind causes them to miss their timing.

LOL at the poster of this video who clearly knows nothing about hurdles, a 1.7 tailwind in a hurdles race is much more of a hindrance than a help. Skills help you get times, not wind.

@dothetruth really? i didnt know... but how come they still have a legal limit of 2.0m/s for records then?? they wont allow a world record above 2.0m/s in hurldes even if it hindered them?

I agree skills help you get times, not wind.
But +0.3 and +1.7 you can't really feel it.
If Robles had the 1.7 tail wind HERE he would still only run 12.95 or 12.93.
Def not a 12.90.
D.O is a beast.
But to state. Anything over 2.0 you can REALLY feel it.
