Connor and Catlin: Run

Roar was one of my favorite shows ever. It was cancelled way too soon. However, the fans were lucky to get 13 episodes.

The BEST couple on the show were Connor, the young leader, and Catlin, the ex-slave. Their love was real and pure. Both characters were brilliantly portrayed by Heath Ledger and Vera Farmiga. You saw Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain/Casanova/A Knight's Tale/etc...You saw Vera Farmiga in The Departed/Touching Evil/etc..

The thing is that episode 9 basically showed the romantic feelings that Conor has for Catlin. The episode is Tash. And in that episode, when he tells her that HE loves her, there is a long pause like he wants to emphasize that fact. He says, "You are loved here. We love you...I love you." He could have just said that "we love you." Instead, he paused for a LONG time before expressing specifically that HE loves her. Then after he makes that declaration, there is a LONG stare between them. Love.

i remember finding the series by accident and seeing the huge potential of heath ledger... and just 11 years later he slipped out of this life. this video is wonderful, even though it breaks my heart. i feel as if someone close has died but how can this be... there are two generations between heath and me and of course i have never even met him. he has an un-nameable quality, which is acurately captured here... and of course the choice of music... wow ! thank you. love from robbiew8n xx

I understand what you mean. Thanks for your response. I made posted this video obviously back in July before any of this happened. Heath will always be one of my favorite actors. I've always admired his work. And also he seems to have been a genuinely good person as well.

Tash, The Red Boot, and the Spear of Destiny are my favorite Roar episodes...I think because I was such a huge Conor/Catlin shipper...I was so mad when the writers had Conor flirting with Molly in The Cage and other episodes...right after he told Catlin that he loves her...

I do LOVE them together too! There is so much passion in her bright blue eyes and he stares back at her. It's beautiful. They were the perfect couple. Damn I wished they kissed. Been watching Roar online. FOX network are assholes for canceling this show and replacing it with young hercules. WACK!!! This video is beautiful thank you for posting it,

I remember the summer this came out and LOVING it from the first episode on. I joined an AOL message board back then that was dedicated to the show.. and I still have one of the ads for the series I tore out of a magazine in like '97.. lol. I wince to say it but.. I even still have the episodes I taped off the tv every week.... yes on VIDEO CASSETTE. Hahaaaa.. I'm a dork =|

Oh i love love love this show :) And they where always my favorite couple, so sad that they canceled the show and never went on with what was going on between them.....i never liked Molly.....one season and they alreaddy screwed up with forming couples ...........;)

Yeah sorry to bother you, but I was just wondering since you are a fan of the television series Roar and you posted a comment about purchasing the complete season. Did it end okay? Is it worth buying because I'm a little upset with how episodes 11-13 went. Just want another opinion before I decide to maybe buy it.
