  • Definitely an amateur singer. Changed word order to get to the high notes. Has a white, spread tone. Wouldn't last two minutes singing an aria. But overall a more pleasing effect than not

  • @HoytNeal Thank you for your comment. However I must note I did not change the word order. This performance is of the Robert Shaw edition which has quite a few word alterations. I also am currently working as a professional opera singer in Boston.

  • Esta es mi versión favorita de lo que he encontrado en youtube, bravo por el cantante

  • No entiendo como es que le critican algo, mejor hagan algo de sus vidas, el que critica por lo general es el que menos hace

  • This is actually a fine Mozart/Rossini/light Donizetti instrument. You could definitely make a good living doing rep like this.

  • @uncleernie50 How is your singing coming now? How is the voice coming? Are you spreading less when singing the high notes on the brighter vowel sounds?

  • pleasing...

  • Robert Shaw found more ways to make a buck! I forgot about that possibility. Some singers change words if they are having difficulty. The ee vowel causes problems for some, but I find it easier. Was that conductor trying to change your tempo. She didn't give the impression she was following you, which is what she should have done. Keep an open throat, a smaller more focused sound through a vertical "Oh" up there and you will also sound even better. Nice effort.
