@darkchild29532 you sir, are an idiot. This is called coil rub. Something you cannot fix, unless you recone.

Burnt voice coil. Solutions are: new sub or you can get another voice coil and replace it. It would cost almost as much to fix it than to just buy a new one.

dust caps are the voice coil cooling system lol its the cap in the front middle of the sub woofer the power acousik mofos 122x dust caps are crazy check em out and they are cheap and sound awesome 1500 watts rms 2700 peak

Voice coil or your amp is messed push in the sub see if it moves freely if it feels like it rubs tos it

or maybe your cords arent pluged all the way in into the actual speaker
dude you got a short in your voice coil remove your dust cap and add solder then re glue caps

im kind of a noob at sound systems, but i do wanna learn. With that being said what is the "dust cap" is that the front of the sub or the back, with the screws and "frame" of the sub
