I really got a charge out of this one... Phil Ohman was a family friend of my father and mother's from the early '20s, I met him out in Hollywood in 1942.

This another case in point when one is showing their player performing on youtube-the piano is well tuned & knowing how to pedal a push-up to add dynamics. Jolly good show Julian, Old Bean. Bill Shirley in the Colonies.

Julian is operating various levers that control tempi, the sustain pedal, the balance between left and right halves of the piano and in combination with how hard he is pedalling , the volume.
