Now Hollwood could have always just made a new sitcom similar to or inspired by Kath and Kim and it probably would have been a lot better, but to actually take the name Kath and Kim and to remake a show like this in another country is just stupid. I mean here in Australia we could easily just make our own version of the big bang theory or two and half men but like this it just wouldn't be the same. Whats the point? Its all in english. Did they hate that we had something they didn't?

Why does Hollywood always think it knows best. US version totally lame....and I'm an American!
Nothing can beat the zany Aussie characters and memorable quotes eg. "Kimmie...Loook at MEE, Loook at MEE" Great stuff. As a rule I hate sitcoms but this is outstanding.

i loved the us version!!..i was so mad when they cancel the show..molly shannon was relly funny..granted i never saw the australian org. but still it was a good show
