@Musikheater I completely agree with you. The professor has a beautiful sound, great taste and a completely natural musicality. He also happens to look absolutely comfortable when playing, with no histrionics, excessive movement or pretentious facial expressions. If he wasn't such a great teacher, I feel sure he could carve out a great career in Europe as a soloist. He's up there with the top notch players.
Yes his name is Armenian because his parents were from that population in northwest of Iran but his fatherland is Iran, you can get more information of wikipedia!
Very impressiv and no bad manners, no show off... Amazing sound and artistry, extreamly cultivated. Many-many thanks for this really joyfull music making!
wow! Stunningly good violinist here. I have so much respect for the Armenian musical tradition and school. After all, wasn't Ivan the great (Galamian) of Armenian origin?

No @farzadvengerov, Maestro Hrachya Harutyunian is an Armenian and was born in Yerevan - the capitol of Armenia.
He was living for about last 25 years in Germany and USA but he is an Armenian. The information in Wikipedia is probably not right...
