and this is by far the best tribute anyone could have given him. We will never see the likes of him again. I am grateful for the photos and the films we have to preserve his phenomenal presence and watch his movies as often as I can. I agree with John that I never got the chance to see him on stage. And yes, he was immortal. Great job and thanks again -
This tribute was AMAZING to watch! THANK YOU so very much for sharing it with us! The late great Walter Huston was one of my all-time favorite actors. What a talented individual! So many wonderful screen portrayals....it's a shame I never got to seen him on the stage. He was truly one of acting's immortals. You've made my day & my weekend! By the way, my two favorite films of his are "The Devil & Daniel Webster" and "Dodsworth". Thanks again....and HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you & yours! :)
Superb! someone please write a biography! I wished he were my Dad when I saw him for first time in Yankee Doodle Dandy..I cried when he died in the film...he was a great actor and a friend to my great aunt Mabel Normand of the silent era. Great photo's here..thanks so much for this..beautifully done. Stephen Normand - September 2009

Mabel, I just found some information on "September Song," a 1998 biography of his friend, actor Walter Huston. written by John Weld.
