Umm no way this is Kalari or Silambam a style of staff fighting in Southern India. There is no way that this even closely resembles the fight seen in the matrix that was all entirely cgi. Lastly most tamil movies I have seen have burly brawls, really bad choregraphed ones though. This would have to be one of the better ones. U could make a better argument that the matrix copied from Hong Kong movies or Tamil films considering the number of brawlz in them
