Have you noticed that the menu bar in IE8 is placed below the address bar when comparing to previous versions or Firefox ? If you would like to move IE8 menu bar to be appeared on top of address bar, you can do it with this simple registry hack.

1.Open registry editor by typing regedit in Run box

2.Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mic­rosoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser

3.In the right pane create a Dword by right click new>Dword “ITBar7Position” and give it value ‘1’ .

Change Windows Registry Editior Version 5.1 to Windows Registry Editior Version 5.00 if you get error message.
