Well, there you have it. Case closed. Because humans do some things that aren't completely functional or rational (like watch sports, eat Doritos, kiss photographs, wear jewelry) this MUST mean that religion is a necessary biological imperative.

All you need to do is look at the stars and know that they die and all life is made from dead stars, and when that life dies it will decompose and become part of the Earth. Look at the wonders of nature, science and art and an understanding that the gods only exist in the imagination and we need no longer to fear death. And the amoral atheist argument is just offensive to all. X
