thanks for this video - I was considering taking montessori infant/toddler alone with my 3-6 children. what i've seen is very similar to what I was doing previously with my own children when i first started up my home daycare =)

Thank you so much for this video. I am trying to implement the Montessori method with my infant (9 month) now and it is pretty easy and challenging at the same time. There are no Montessori schools around us. I do have one question: How does one go about obtaining Montessori educational materials without taking themselves to the poor-house? I want to homeschool my child so that she can benefit from the Montessori method but cannot afford most of the materials. Should I just give up?

Hello, Catalina's mother...
I, too, am a new mom, and for the life of me, I am really struggling with finding resources & like-minded mothers. My son is 5 months, and I see tremendous value in the Montessori method. The items are very expensive, and so specific to developmental stages. I saw one place where mother's swapped toys, but being geographically close is a necessity for that. Have you found any great resources or parent communities either virtually or near your home?

Most of the materials you can make it yourself! And the most important is not the material but the filosofy! Let the child discover by himself!
