Book of love guitar chords (Magnetic Fields / Peter Gabriel cover)

Someone recently asked me how I play my version of the song. So, here is a little close-up of the guitar work. Chords:
A (x0222x)
D/Badd9 (x20230)
E7 (02010x)
A (x02220)

The picking is very simple, just pluck the bass string with the thumb and play the first 3 fingers simultaneously, then pat down on the strings with the whole hand for the slap. I use the back of my thumb nail to hit the high E string on the off-beats.

In the chorus, I use an alternating pattern that counts as: 123, 12345 (with the bass note played on beat 1)
Again, I'm using my thumb for the bass note and then the first 3 fingers in sequence.

I love ths version, but I cannot at my best will figure out the way you play it. I can get the chords, but the strings (mostly due to the videos quality) a mistery.

If you or anyone else could give me a hint or even write down a tab real fast I´d be very grateful!

I"ve never written tab before, so it would probably take me hours. Basically I play the bass notes with my thumb, then pluck the DGB strings with my first 3 fingers. I do an upstroke on the high E string with the back of my thumbnail on the '3and' count, and slap down on the strings for a percussive effect on the 2 and 4 counts.

Sorry, I don't have the sheet, and would take me hour to type it as I have no practics at it... but I hope you can figure it out by looking at my fingers. Its a very simple song and there are many ways to play it. I like the contrast between the rythmic verse and flowing chorus with this arrangement.
