  • worst labtop ever had it for 1 month and my keyboard malfunctioned and the volume buttons do not respond either

custom settings will continuously open and the display will try to open a projection \

save yourselves and buy a dell or anything else

  • worest labtop ever!!!

only 1 year and the motherboard burned out !!!

    dont buy it,,

  • What is an HDMA?

  • @jimdoesjokes Yes it takes work to fix it. I bought this laptop like 8 months ago knowing i would try to fix it but yeah it took a lot of work stress and anxiety to get it to work to its maximum potential. I'm not a fan of using linux cause it's not compatible with a couple software i use for work.

Interesting though... do you run energy management (lenovo brand)? What are your cpu/gpu core temps?

  • @Flipty11 The thing is this laptop is built poorly. Yeah... in terms of hardware this is a bargain but don't let it fool you. The bios update is weird and it doesn't work well. I had to re-flash my bios to the older update. If your okay with doing a bunch of homework reading lenovo support forums to get it working perfectly then more power to you. But... if your an average user who doesn't care about maximizing its potential then go for it. Lenovo has the worst customer service too.

  • @yellowman88 I own one also. Its not that bad. You simply have to uninstall all the lenovo junk. Got to ATIs website for updated graphics drivers. You never simply use a machine out of the box. I in the end installed Xubuntu on my Y560 and other than not being able to switch graphics card I havent had one hiccup yet. A good laptop if you know how to properly care for one.

  • OMG I H8 HER ******* VOICE!

  • @yellowman88 Thanks for the warning, what would you recommend as an alternative? I've looked around but this is the best laptop I've found with these kinds of specs in my price range.

  • I bought this piece of crap and from the beginning it froze randomly.... whitch sucks!!!! It just don't reacts anymore and i don't know why -.- . DON'T BUY IT !!!!
