Personally, i think the reason that most of the people listening to this hate the new album is because they liked the first album - they're the type of people who liked that style of music (alternative?) . With the new album being more mainstream pop, those who liked the old style tend to dislike the more mainstream music and so dislike what Maroon 5 have become. Well done for reading all of that.
