@vena4444 yes it is, and it needs to stay that way because once you discover the glory of music making on a mac you'll never go back. (The comment you are reading right now just came from a hardcore PC/XBOX 360 Gamer, if that matters to you at all.) ^_^

@MrRobertkajtazi if your close-minded you won't get anywhere in life. Whether your a professional or not, nobody likes a prick. :)

There's a "Flex" button on the top of your screen, right next to the "Automation" one. Much easier than clicking the "View" menu...

@ravenosa1025 I personally use Command-F... The flex button is a tricky bugger! I was trying to flex some audio recently, and found that flex view wasn't working. It was really getting to me, then I realized that each audio region can have it's flex time turned on or off. Even if you have flex view on, you must be sure the flex button you are speaking of is enabled for the audio regions.

if you're talented you don't need flextime

If you're a paid engineer who got handed tracks that have to be fixed on a budget and a deadline, flextime really helps. You need to remember that there are many folks who are in the industry that are called to solve problems they themselves didn't even create! I've helped lots of folks who didn't record themselves right in the first place, and helped them sound pretty decent because of meticulous time-correction. Sometimes, when the bad deed is done, our tools can help smooth out the edges.
