Update - April 2011 - It's been more than 3 years now, and Brenda is still doing well and has stable and unchanged MRI scan, no sign of any tumor activity!

I am a childhood brain cancer survivor....had it since at least age 7...Pilocytic-astrocytoma.....one major brain operation as an adult...No chemo...No radition....I will be 48.......there are other ways...God bless...

I wish we could be as upbeat as you. We're facing the same thing. I see people claim to have beaten this after only two years, but the average survival is 3.5 years. We're holding our breath and not declaring victory until we can get past that date.
