A favorite spot of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Dowdell's Knob is preserved as an overlook in F.D. Roosevelt State Park near Warm Springs and Pine Mountain, Georgia. Operated by the Department of Natural Resources. The Knob is located close to Roosevelt's Little White House State Historic Site in Warm Springs, Georgia.
