Which includes the war of the roses, the 7 years war, the 11 years war, the sino-japanese war, the russo-japanese war, the spanish american war, the list could go on and on. Even world war two could fall under that category, since the humiliation germany was subjected to pretty much led directly to a climate for hilter, and the annexation of sudenland and poland.

I actually cant name one war that was started because of religion. The Crusades? Though even then, it wasnt that the Arabs were godless heathen needing christianity, it was nobles and political leaders wanted to capture religion icons, towns, and relics, to substaniate their claims to the pope, or even become the pope themselves, or at least an elector in the holy roman empire. Most wars are due to resources. Almost all of them. Besides say, the War of the Roses, or the 7 years war.
