Germany will never allow the moneypresses to roll. Apparently you don't know what happend to the German economy as a result of excessive money printing in the early thirties of last century: Hyper inflation combined with stagnation. I still have a banknote worth 1 million 'Reichsmark', with which you could merely buy an egg..

Btw: the Greek economy has never been in a good state. Greece already went bankrupt 4 times in the last century.

@Change6609 Everyone will benefit from it since everyone is heavily in debt, not just Greece. All EU countries want money to be printed except for Germany, Netherlands and Finland ( i think), since they want to buy land/resources in southern countries before saving them. Printed money will be invested in increasing the GDP of EU countries.

Money will be printed anyway, Germany and other idiotic northeners are just slowing the process down to make more money out of it. Get your facts straight.

@mpogias13 Yeah, of course... when your economy is in trouble and you have hard times borrowing money on the international capital markets, you simply print some more money! Now that's a recipe for disaster! Because money only has value because there is a limited amount of it and therefore people are willing to accept it. You as a Greek are the last one that can critise Europe because you only benefit of it and European and IMF supervision on the Greek economy is your only chance for improvement

@Change6609 The Eurozone is doomed to fail due to its members trying to profit from each others crisis.The reason this is happening is because Europe even though it is united in terms of military and economy it doesn't exist as a single political entity.Don't even mention the European Parliament, its a complete joke.

Europe will come crashing down because of its lack of likemindedness and its refusal to print money like anyone else does, not because of little insignificant Greece.

...the debt is so high that all the European economies would have to be knocked down in order to make it even a tad smaller. Thus, it’s evident that costs outweigh the benefits.

While all our adversaries are devaluating their currency (even the stubborn Brits are printing money) to become more competitive in the international markets, Europe is the big international loser because of our leaders incompetence, procrastination, delays, wrong decisions, lack of appropriate policy,unity etc...
