@fuzzywzhe Could you tell me the downside of owning one of those. I'm not a beginner with owning dogs, but I've always had smaller breeds, like Corgis. I know that the bigger breeds are more prone to have health issues, but I would like to know what exactly it is that I'm getting into.

are these all yous? i used to have a female (pumpkin) she was 15 she and her memories ripped my heart!! I cried for 6 months. maybe I'll get another one but no dog will ever take her place

I agree, certainly not for beginners. It worries me that so many of these videos go up, and people scream they want one, and nobody warns them just what they are getting into. Samoyeds are awesome great dogs, for the right owner. For the wrong owner, it's nightmare in fur.

I did dog rescue for Samoyeds, I never met a nasty one - unless it turned out to be a Chow that was misidentified as a Samoyed. Even the very abused Samoyeds I got were nice. One I had could be vicious but only because he was VERY abused, he was terrified of people and he'd give you plenty of warning before he snapped.
