Was trying to think of what the opening melody was...
It's essentially The Faceless opening, filtered through a Kurt Ballou (via Alex Dunham)sensibility.
Ultimately it sounds like an attempt at the gods Breach (RIP) from Sweden! Go figure.

The Faceless, that generic metal band? TF should rename to The Heartless, they have no soul in their songs, only chops & clean productions.
This band made better usage of these tones than The Pointless ever did, + they aren't the same when it comes to rhythm, notation and tones, and The Soulless intro is only an intro (after which the inflated metal riff comes along), while this band use it as a main theme. And I doubt this band ever heard of TF, since they aren't alike at all.
